When should I book my photoshoot?

For maternity and newborn sessions, I recommend booking after your 12 week scan once you have a confirmed due date. For family sessions, allow for at least 2 weeks notice.

How do I book a date when I don't know when my baby will arrive?

When you are ready, I will book your due date to my calendar.  All you'll need to do is let me know when baby is here and we can adjust the date as required.
Make sure to book in advance as I only allocate a certain amount of shoots per month!

Question 3

What age should my newborn be?

Accepted Answer

The perfect time for a newborn shoot is when your baby is around 7-14 days old. During this period, babies are usually sleepier allowing us to capture those precious, curled-up newborn moments beautifully. 
I can still offer sessions for newborns up to 12 weeks old.

What if my baby is unsettled during the session?

Please don’t worry, I promise I will create the most beautiful images for you, you have nothing to worry about, settling babies is part of my job. I allow extra time for feeding, changing, soothing and cuddles!

What is the turnaround time on my photos?

Accepted Answer

The turnaround time for receiving your edited newborn photos will be up to 2 weeks.

Question 6

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

My photography style is natural, light and soft so I recommend wearing neutral colours. Try not to wear any bright/dark colours.
The studio will be warm for baby so please wear light layers.
White T-shirt/shirt for dad and light flowy dress for mum as an example.
